This lid fulfills the dimensional requirements in compliance with norm EN 50342 and norm JIS D 5301. Its handle has two or three spokes which resist to the most demanding performance foreseen by safety norms.The lid can be equipped with a hole for the electrolyte level indicator and also with safety pole covers.

MAINTENANCE FREE
Our push-in plug is fixed on the lid to guarantee a perfect tightness of the lid. Its special design prevents the leakage of electrolyte from the battery. The battery can not be opened by the user thanks to the cavities on the plug which are fixed to the related notches on the lid (maintenance free lid).

LABYRINTH
The lid has a push-in sextuple plug with integrate labyrinth. Thanks to its shape the gas produced by the battery is condensed and conveyed to the outside through two degassing holes. There are two flame arrestor inside the plug near the degassing hole.
