The history of ATI goes a long way back, to 1958, when, on the initiative of Olimpio Stocchiero, "Officine Stocchiero" was founded, specializing in the production of moulds for plastics.
The company's range of business soon expanded: thanks to the know-how acquired, ITM was estabilished and became a reference point in research, design and industrialization for the moulding of plastics. And so new orizons opened up: in 1981, combining the capacities matured in the two companies,Olimpio Stocchiero founded ATI-Applicazioni tecnologie ad iniezione (Injection applications and technologies). This was the beginning of a functional and integrated process in the field of the design and production of plastic components for batteries.
